  • 06-20-03 - Finally got the clutch squared away, after installing new plates/disks and springs. It rips now! I also finally figured out how to get all my pirches mounted on the clip-ons. Now, just fork seals left to do!

    By the way, my friend told me Letizia (dark hair, far right in pic of 3 girls below) has a weird face. He must be gay. And just to prove this, i have found another pic..

    Letizia, if you see this im not a stalker or anything really, and if you want the pics removed just email me. Or better yet, take me out for a beer and it will be done post haste!

  • 06-15-03 - The stock slave cylinder sucks. They always leak, so i ordered an aftermarket billet aluminum piece. This one is much more robust, and after 5+ hours of wrenching (im a geek not a mechanic) it was done.

  • 06-06-03 - I really hate the stock monster bars, i feel like im riding a tricycle. I ordered a set of clip-ons the day i picked up the bike and installed them today. Im having problems getting all the pirches mounted because of the 'coffin' style reservoirs on the brake and clutch pirch. Once i find a set of used ducati 916/996/ss/etc brake and clutch pirches/master cylinders with remote reservoirs im going to replace my gimp style ones.


  • 06-01-03 - So.. after taking a year off work and selling everything i had (including the beast) to finance an openwheel car racing career - im broke. I bought this monster for some cheap/fun transportation. Its got tons of miles, and it isnt perfect but i dont care. I have time to work on it since im not working a normal 9-5 at the moment. I have a thing for the old school triton type cafe racers and ducati's.. so this was the perfect solution! ;)
